Autumn Printables

Welcome to day 18 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I’m sure by now you all know how much I love Autumn, but I’m living in the desert now so it’s a little different. The weather is still warm, although this week is suppose to be in the 70’s, definitely Fall weather here. Luckily it’s not only the weather I love about Autumn, although I might head up to a local mountain to experience weather closer to the Fall crisp air I crave.

What I really love about Autumn is the beginning of the holiday season. Okay let’s be honest, I love any holiday but I especially love the memories we’ve created as a family around Thanksgiving and even Halloween, Christmas too but that comes later. Even though things are dying or starting to go to sleep for the Winter, Autumn feels like a new beginning to me. Maybe it’s just the change of the season, maybe it’s getting cozy with a blanket and a good book, or maybe it’s just because every season brings something special with it. I also like to organize and declutter my house in Fall, so that always makes me feel accomplished.

Stamped Christmas Clothespins

Welcome to day 17 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I love clothespins! They’re a fast and easy way to hang a banner, you can decorate them however you like, and they’re functional. Any item that can be used for decorating, crafting, and organizing is #1 in my book! I chose to make Stamped Christmas Clothespins using a few supplies from my craft room for the 15 minute craft project today. There are so many options on how to use them.

Stamped Christmas Clothespins can be used to hang a banner, attach a tag to a gift, or to hold Christmas cards

Leather Bow

Welcome to day 16 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I have always wanted to make something with leather so I thought I’d start with making something really simple and work my way up to harder leather projects. I wanted to make a bow because my daughter wears buns or pulls her hair back often and she loves to wear bows to match her outfit. She has made some really cute fabric bows (you should check them out). I love the look and the texture of the Leather Bow, plus this color is so pretty.

Balloon Dipped Mason Jars

Welcome to day 15 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I love paint dipped bottles, jars, baskets and even furniture but let’s be honest it can be messy and it takes a long time to dry. I’m not saying that you won’t be seeing any paint dipped projects in the future, but I love that I can get the same look on these jars in a lot less time using only balloons. These Balloon Dipped Mason Jars are easy to make and of course only take a few minutes. It’s another project where you probably already have all the supplies in your home. We all have leftover birthday balloons, right?

Spicy Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich

When I look back on my childhood there are a few things I remember clearly. One of those things was coming in from playing in the Fall leaves and having a big bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich waiting for me. Fall has always been my favorite season and part of that is the food I like to enjoy once the cooler weather hits. I could probably re-name Fall, soup season. I always had a grilled cheese sandwich with my soup so it’s not surprising I still love grilled cheese sandwiches as an adult, although I have taken them up a notch. This Spicy Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich is my favorite thing to pair with soup right now, the recipe is below.

Burlap Can Vases

Welcome to day 14 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I hope you’re enjoying this series as much as I am. Like I said in the introduction post, not everyone has a lot of time to craft but most of us can find at least 15 minutes a couple times a week. Fresh flowers in my home make me happy and you don’t have to spend a lot of money. I buy mine from my local grocery store for about $4-5 a bunch. I get tired of the same vases and these Burlap Can Vases are cheap and easy to make.

Binder Clip Photo Holders

Welcome  to day 13 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

Organizing products don’t have to be plain or used in the way they were intended. Since most of us have binder clips and scraps of paper around the house I thought this would be a quick and easy project for you to work on today or later this week. We’re going to turn those large binder clips into decorative Binder Clip Photo Holders using very little time and supplies.

Washi Tape Birthday Cake Banner

Welcome to day 12 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I love banners! I always have at least one banner up in my house whether it be over the fireplace, hanging on an old window frame or over a bed. I love making banners for special occasions as well. A mini banner can add a lot of interest and it only takes a few minutes to make. We’re going to make a Washi Tape Birthday Cake Banner today, but it would also look perfect added to a pumpkin or a pie this time of year.

Paper Plate Basket

Welcome to day 10 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

I like to give treats to neighbors and friends this time of year, between Thanksgiving and Christmas I am baking almost everyday. A lot of times I am giving treats on plain paper plates because I don’t have anything else on hand. So why not turn those plain paper plates into a pretty Paper Plate Basket in only a few minutes.

Paper Plate Basket is a quick and easy container for baked goods and other food treats to give as gifts
