Ring Holder Frame

Welcome to day 8 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

Today we’re going to make a Ring Holder Frame so you have a place to put your ring if you need to take it off. I don’t take my ring off very often but when I do I’m always worried that it’s going to get knocked off the counter or I’m going to forget where I put it. You can place the ring holder in the kitchen or the bath room or make a couple so you can have them in both rooms.

Magnetic Bookmarks

Welcome to day 7 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

We’re going to be making Magnetic Bookmarks today. I love reading books and magazines but it seems like I am always losing my place and I’m not one who likes to turn the corner of pages down. I take my books to the park, on road trips, from room to room in my house, doctors appointments, you get the idea. My kids read a lot too and it’s always frustrating when any of us loose our place. It was time for a better bookmark.

These Magnetic Bookmarks are so great! They keep your place in your book and never slip out

Mason Jar Pin Cushion

Welcome to day 6 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

Today we will be making a Mason Jar Pin Cushion. This has come in so handy in my craft room. It would make a great gift for a friend who loves to sew or to send away to college with your student. Just fill with sewing supplies or make a little sewing kit so your student can mend their own clothes and not have to bring them home to you.

Button Snowman

Welcome to day 5 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

We will be making a Button Snowman today. It has been dark, cloudy, and rainy most of the day. It got me excited for cooler weather and even though I live in the desert I still decorate with snowmen in the Winter. This little button snowman is so fast and easy to make and depending on the background paper and frame you choose it can fit in any decor. I already had the supplies on hand for this project, look around, you might too.

Fall Bucket List

I think I’ve talked about Fall enough that you all know how much I love it, but in case you don’t know let me tell you why I love it. I love the colors, the smells, the cooler weather, and the clothes (sweaters in particular). I also love the memories from my childhood and the memories we’ve created as a family. I think that’s why I like to make lists. I like to get the most I can out of every season and the holidays and by making lists and checking things off I feel like I’m taking full advantage of the season.

Batty Popcorn Box

We were all sent a box of supplies from some great sponsors but we were able to use as much or as little of the supplies as we wanted. I chose a few supplies to create this Batty Popcorn Box with a popcorn treat inside.

Batty Popcorn Box-This Batty Popcorn Box is perfect as a neighbor or friend gift or just to make popcorn eating even better

Supplies needed:

Popcorn box (World Market)
Tulle
Scrapbook paper (Adorn It)
Plastic bats
Ribbon
Washi tape (Scotch Brand)
Happy Haunting tag (Laura Kelly Designs)
Adhesive (Aleene’s brand)

Batty Popcorn Box supplies.1

I covered the outside of the popcorn box with scrapbook paper. Trace each side of the box onto the back of a piece of paper then cut it out and apply it to each side of the box using adhesive. Number the paper and box to make sure they get applied to the right side of the box.

Batty Popcorn Box.2

The papers were slightly short for the box so I covered the bottom of the box in black washi tape.

Batty Popcorn Box.3

I had an extra piece of orange tulle so I wrapped it around the top of the box.

Batty Popcorn Box.4

Then added the embellishments to the front of the box. The paper pieces are cut from scrapbook paper and the plastic bats are from the craft store. Secure the pieces with glue dots to add a little dimension to the box.

Batty Popcorn Box.6

Punch a hole in the paper and tie a ribbon to it to make a tag.

Batty Popcorn Box.5

You can make a really easy and delicious popcorn treat by mixing caramel corn, candy corn, m&m’s, and pretzels.

I’m sure your family, friends, and neighbors would love a Halloween treat in a fun decorated popcorn box this year.

Felt Ball Garland

Welcome to day 4 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

Today we will be making this really simple but super cute Felt Ball Garland. I love garlands and I love felt balls so why not combine them. This garland is very simple so it’s perfect for layering over other garlands. It can work with any holiday or celebration depending on the colors you choose. I made this one for Halloween since that’s what I’ve been decorating for this past week.

Burlap Ribbon Trees

Welcome to day 2 of 31 Days of 15 Minute Craft Projects.

We will be crafting Burlap Ribbon Trees today. I’ve seen trees very similar to these at craft stores and boutiques lately and thought I could make them very easily and for a fraction of the cost. Burlap is perfect for Fall and for a country Christmas so don’t be surprised if you see these pop up around my house a couple times in the next few months.
