Hi Friends! I’ve been gone for a while but am so happy to be back with you again. I’m just trying to figure out how to find balance with my health issues, new responsibilities, and blogging. I know we all have the same hours in a day but I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to accomplish all I need to within those hours. Wish me luck, but as I figure it out I’m going to make sure I find time to share my projects with you again. Let’s start with this Garden Spring Mantel with a slight nod to St. Patrick’s day.
Who wants some instant art to add to your Valentine’s Day decor? I love decorating with printables for holidays. They’re easy to decorate with by using the same frames and just switching the prints out with the change of the holidays. Print out one or all of these Pink and Red Valentine’s Day Printables for pretty and instant Valentine’s Day decorating.
As my kids became teens they started receiving more money than gifts from friends and relatives for their birthdays. Soon they caught on to this awesome gift of money and started wanting it from us instead of gifts too. They like pooling all their birthday money together and getting something more expensive they really want. The only problem is giving money is boring. We started giving Surprise Birthday Money several years ago. Check out more fun ideas for giving money at the bottom of this post.
Are you tired of the same old Valentine’s Day decorations and want something a little different? Here are 14 Creative Ways to Decorate for Valentine’s Day this year. Most of them are subtle enough that you can keep them up year round.

This year I thought I’d try something different and make these easy chocolate dipped cherries myself.
With Christmas over I return to my previously simple home decor. If you are new here you need to know that I love decorating my mantel for every season, holiday, and even sometimes special events, but I also keep it pretty simple. This Winter Scene Mantel was easy to pull together using a few things I left out from Christmas.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Coca-Cola® and Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.
I first saw these aluminum Coca-Cola bottles a few years ago at a luncheon I was attending. They were so awesome and the shape was so perfect that I couldn’t just throw them away, so I took them home and turned them into vases by spray painting them and adding some twine to the top. This year when I saw that Dollar General had a Bottle Cap Topper for Coca-Cola bottles I had to have some fun and turn them into Coca-Cola Bottle Ornaments.
