DIY Produce Bags

I don’t like being wasteful or spending excess money so I came up with this great idea for reusable Produce Bags. A lot of us already use reusable grocery bags so why not also stop using those plastic bags for produce and start using these DIY reusable produce bags. I made these bags a few months ago, then I saw a grocery store selling something similar last week. They were around $10 for 3 bags. I prefer to take a few minutes and make them for pennies though.

How to Paint and Wax Furniture (coffee table)

I had chalk paint powder and wax for a long time before trying it. Why? Because I had never painted with chalk paint or used wax on anything before. I was so intimidated to try it. One day I just decided to jump in and get this small table painted. In this post I’m going to be sharing my tips on How to Paint and Wax Furniture. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to paint more pieces.

Free Printable Bookmarks

Free Printable Bookmarks

Do your kids like to read? Do they read several books at one time? I have 8 kids and have been fortunate that most of them like to read. For the most part it wasn’t much of a struggle to fit in their daily reading when they were younger. In elementary school they were lucky that most of their teachers had a reading center where they could experiment with finding the types of books they enjoyed reading.

The school and public libraries have also been an excellent way for them to find what they are interested in reading. With all those borrowed books we would loose a lot of bookmarks. I made these free printable bookmarks several years ago and decided to share them with you.
