Add Christmas Hoop Wreaths to your kitchen cabinets or doors to add a festive touch to your home.
If you follow me on Instagram you know that when we moved we somehow lost our Christmas tote full of greenery which included all my small wreaths. Very sad, indeed. Due to moving to a small town and a limited supply of goods I did what anyone would do and used items I already had to make a few small wreaths. Luckily these go along really well with the minimalist feel of my home.
Supplies needed for the Christmas Hoop Wreaths:
Hoops (8″ and oval)
Greenery stems (miscellaneous)
Small bottle brush trees
Glue gun and glue sticks
Ribbon (I used 1″ velvet)
You can leave the hoops natural like I did or stain them for a richer look. I always lay out the design before I start securing and gluing things in place. I had minimal greenery available, feel free to add as much as you like to make it as full as you prefer. Glue the greenery stems to the inner area of the hoops then glue the trees on the outside of the hoop to add dimension. I have so many of these mini bottle brush trees that it feels rewarding to finally be able to use them in a project.
You can see on this oval hoop that I placed one of the trees set back a little, for another way to add dimension.
These are perfect for my Christmas decorating this year but could also take you all the way through the Winter season. Aren’t Christmas decorations so magical? They instantly make your home feel warm and cozy.
This one is hanging on our bedroom door. The deep green velvet ribbon really takes it up a notch and it’s a nice welcome to our bedroom.
This one is on the pantry door. After I added the chair swags I felt like the pantry door needed something on it too. If you don’t have wreaths hanging on the kitchen cabinets the pantry door is a good option.
I never noticed how wide the laundry room door was until I went to hang these wreaths so I decided to add 2 to this door. I will probably move the bottom one down a little.
Pretty cute, don’t you think? I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season!
