I bought this awesome mustache duck tape to make Zach’s banner for his birthday, as soon as he saw it he wanted to know if there was any extra. Since the banner didn’t take much there was a lot left. Apparently he’d been wanting to make a duck tape wallet for a while now. Here’s what he did to make his.
Cut 4 pieces of duck tape 7″ long.
Lay pieces sticky side up and overlap slightly making one large piece.
Cut 4 more pieces 7″ long. Turn bottom piece vertical and add 4 more pieces horizontally overlapping slightly, sticky sides together. Trim off excess on all sides to make even.
Fold piece in half.
Cut a strip 4″ long and tape around short end. Then fold wallet in half and cut off any excess on the other end before you tape it. This will make it so the wallet isn’t bulging in the center. Cut another 4″ strip for this side and tape around the edge.
It’s now finished. He added an extra pocket to one of them by using 3 pieces of 7″ long tape, folding it sticky sides together long way and adding it to the inside of the wallet before taping the sides. Cut another 7″ piece to wrap around the bottom of the wallet if you add the extra pocket. Cut off any excess to make it even.
Now he wants to make a holder for the tablet he’s getting. I’ll let you know how that goes.
Love it- am gonna try to make one now!
Great job.
And I did make the tablet cover-
thanks
