I love changing my mantel, but sometimes it takes me awhile. I had most of it changed to Winter last week.
By using silver and a little white accessories I already had on hand.
Except for these blue orbs (that’s what hubby calls them).
They’re actually ornaments I bought at Target for 90% off after Christmas. All 3 of them were under a dollar. I love how they change in different light.
The blue balls and snowflake are ornaments I didn’t use for Christmas. Blue is one of those colors that can give me a cool or warm feeling. I love it with silver for Winter.
I kept the wreath up from Christmas, but took off the red floral picks and changed the red ribbon for a gray one.
I added the snowflakes yesterday by attaching them to white yarn with clothespins. These are the snowflakes I painted silver and glittered for Christmas, but never used them.
The window looked too empty so I added the word Winter in vinyl.
Now it’s finally done. Sorry about all the different lighting. That’s what happens when I take pictures over 3 days and I’m not sure how to use my camera.
