I am craving some green in my decor, maybe because there is no green in sight outside. Since there’s snow on the ground I don’t see it turning green anytime soon, so I’m greening it up indoors.
I have to say, I’m starting to enjoy shopping my home almost as much as retail shopping.
There’s satisfaction in being able to make do with what you have.
And knowing even when you did purchase it, you didn’t spend much.
Inexpensive frames, pitchers, and fake flowers can make a beautiful display.
And I adore this picture of my family. I wish all the kids were in it, but it’s hard to get the married ones all together. Maybe next one.
Are you craving Spring? How do you feel about decorating with what you already have?
That looks lovely! I always need green in my house otherwise it feels dry and stifling, weird right? The frames look very stylish too!
I am with you, I finally springed up my interior and feel so much better! I don’t know many stay at home mommas who have the luxury of taking care of their family AND spending on home decor whenever they want so the idea of thrify shopping in our homes is the best one ever.

Hey Leanne! I need a link for some free St Patricks Day printables to frame:)
thanks

I shopped around my house yesterday for some green stuff to display in my diningroom hutch and did not come up with much!! LOL
I just redid my kitchen shelf decor in greens. Love how fresh it all looks.
Very pretty- I love the green and white – I just updated my mantel as well – also with lots of green! 🙂

I’m sooo ready for Spring and completed my Spring mantel right after Valentine’s Day. I’m a woman who seriously does not like winter 🙂 We already have daffodils blooming in the yard (here in VA). Can’t wait to link up with the Spring Mantel show!
I love it! I love the empty frame thing that’s popular right now, it looks so good in mantel displays! And I love how you’ve got a cute family picture out too. Thanks for joining the Spring Mantel Party!

It’s always great to use what you have–when you have lovely things like you do! Visiting from the Spring Mantel party.
