Tiny Flag Banner

I have this frame in my entry that usually has a little wire running across the middle of it that I hang seasonal things from. I clip them on with cute little clothespins. I love clothespins but I wanted to change it up a bit so I took the wire off and made a little banner to hang across the middle.

I gathered supplies I already had in my craft room. The plaid and floral tape is Martha Stewart. The little flags are too. Do you want to know my favorite place to buy Martha Stewart products? Big Lots! Yep, Big Lots carries Martha Stewart. You have to look through things, supplies are limited, and I think it’s last year’s stock but it’s so much cheaper. And a little Martha Stewart always makes me happy.

I laid the ribbon out in the order I wanted, then started assembling the banner. The one flag looks orange in the picture but it’s really red (in case you were wondering on the color).

I folded the flag in half, used a tape runner on the inside of the flag, folded it over the bakers twine, then stuck the 2 sides together.

For the tape, I just cut it to size, folded it in half over the twine, stuck the pieces together, then cut the ends.

Isn’t it so cute? And it took no time at all. I really like the shape of this flag banner. I need to find a space to make one on a larger scale.
