Winter decorating to me = white with a little blue. Hubby has a hard time once we take all the Christmas decorations down. He thinks the house feels empty. I think it feels clean and new, and I love it. Here’s some of my Winter decorating that helps me feel relaxed and calm after the holidays.
This is my favorite snowman ever. He’s covered with tiny seeds all over his body. I bought it at Target several years ago.
I filled some jars with all white accessories.
Here’s a closer look at my cute penguin, flocked tree, and icy tree. Epsom salt is in the bottom of the jar.
White candles and another flocked tree.
Some pictures of my kids having fun in the snow and a cute snowman in a tray. I bought this tray last week for $1 from D.I. I’m not sure what color I’m going to paint it yet.
This is my super simple dining table centerpiece. The candlestick holders are from Ikea. I love them! I just stuck a flocked tree on the top of each one. I made the tree in the center for Christmas this year.
In the kitchen, I simply added some silver glitter picks to one of my white vases. I love white and silver together. See the roosters in the back? Yeah, I know you can’t miss seeing them. They’re going to be gone soon. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to show you what I have planned for the backsplash.
This lantern was from Ikea a few years ago. I’m not sure if they still have it in this color. The snowman stitching was from a friend for Christmas one year.
Isn’t he so cute? I love him and the blue frame too (thanks Heidi).
Do you decorate for Winter or have you already moved on to Valentine’s Day?
I don’t decorate for winter or valentines day …. I really want to start now. The house feels strange without the Christmas stuff out.
Your decorations look so great! I love all the white and silver and blue. It’s so pretty!
Your little penguin is charming! 🙂
I’m in love with your glass containers, and the epsom salt/snowman! 🙂

Your winter decoration is so elegant..It’s an envy for me….we don’t have winter here in Puerto Rico…(no snow) but we have some cold days now in January around 70 and 73 degrees…yeah I now for you that’s nothing but for me… it’s freezing…lol
i’m jealous of that lovely tray you got for $1!! great find! it will be so fun to see what color you paint it
