I’ve been working on decorating the mantel for Christmas. I’m not ready to show the whole thing yet, but I’ll show you what I decided to do with the window. It needed some vinyl to give it a little umph. I used my Cricut to cut out a sleigh in white and silver vinyl, because I wanted a 2 tone look. I simply laid the white vinyl (shelf liner) over the silver sled leaving the blades silver.
Then I wanted to create a 2 tone reindeer by having the body white and the antlers silver, so I cut the antlers off the white reindeer. I laid the white over the silver vinyl again.
Then I had a great idea of what to do with the leftover white antlers. Once I cut off the smaller curls they looked like moustaches.
My boys loved making faces and playing with them. Aren’t they cute?
I layered all the pieces.
Then stuck them on the window. I love how it pulls the whole look of the mantel together. I’ll show the complete mantel later today.
