I’m not sure what it is about decorating for Thanksgiving, but it soothes me. After all the crazy and Disney-ish decorations for Halloween I crave simple and soothing. Don’t get me wrong, I love Halloween decorations. But after a month of being surrounded by ghosts, bats, skulls and witches, I need to tone it down a bit. I’m ready for clutterless decorating.
I love this table runner, but it’s too short, so I turned it the other direction.
I love the detail on the ends. And since I turned it, you can actually see it better.
I’ve been crushing on white pumpkins the last couple years. I’ve been asked where I got mine. Well, some are real, some are fake and some are painted. I always say if they don’t have something in the color you want, just paint it. Even in nature (no live animals or children, please).
I’ll have more Thanksgiving decor tomorrow and you know it’s going to be simple and clutterless. That’s what I’m craving now.
Looks very pretty. I, too, am hoping to tone down not just my Thanksgiving decor (I don’t have much of that, really), but also my CHRISTMAS decor!! I’m really going to re-evaluate my Christmas decorations this year.
Oooh. I love simple white pumpkins. (love the quote about painting anything… lol!)
I love this look. I totally copied you on my table, minus the runner. Thank you for the idea.
