Thanksgiving Mantel

The first day of November means it’s time to change the mantel again. I want to say this mantel is going to take me through to Thanksgiving, but it might not. I love changing my mantel and it’s usually the first thing I decorate for the season or holiday. I always start by bringing all the decor possibilities to one place. I didn’t even know I had this many white pumpkins.

And here’s what I came up with. I can’t believe how fast it came together.

I’ve had most of the candle holders for a couple years. The white ones were just purchased at Ikea last week.

I’ve had so many questions and comments about this picture of my girls. I thought now would be a good time to let you know more about one of my favorite pictures. It was taken last Fall at a local corn maze. The girls were walking ahead of us and just linked hands. They were talking and having so much fun, I couldn’t resist taking a picture. I edited the picture myself and then ordered the canvas through Canvas People. You can order your favorite picture on canvas too. Just click on the Canvas People ad above my header and order your free canvas now (maybe you should wait till after you finish reading this post though).

I think the tall candle holder has a permanent home on my mantel. I just seems to fit with every season.

The wreath was taken off my other old window and moved here. I added the brown ribbon. I’m really loving deep brown right now.

So, what do you think? I love it!

I still need to make a Thanksgiving bunting that I’ll be adding later. I kept the basket in front of the fireplace.

More Thanksgiving decor to come. Thanks for visiting!

That image of the girls is so precious, and perfect for the mantle! I really like that you used white pumpkins too – feels fresh.

i love this, and those candle holders are so versatile, i can see ornaments or pinecones on them in a month, easter eggs nestled on grass next spring, (oh and candles can sometimes fill those holes!)

so pretty. i love that your walls are a color. so many decor blogs make us think we should have white or cream walls again. but you inspire me to keep my green walls. it’s pretty to accessorize with white, black, and brown against the colored walls. 🙂

Beautiful! I don’t have a fireplace or a mantel, but I’m thinking about getting my hubby to make me a mantle shelf so I can fake it! lol 🙂

Your Thanksgiving mantel is so very pretty! I love white pumpkins too and yours looks so great all grouped together at different heights. Love the wreath too!

I like your mix and match candleholders. I’ve tried that before but they tend to look more like I’ve thrown too many together. Maybe becaust I’m too critcal, but I always take them down. Your wreath is very pretty too!

I know I already commented but I just voted for this on the Days of Thanksgiving party. It’s one of my favorite mantels I’ve seen! LOVE it.
