The Nester is hosting another Price My Space at the Nesting Place. I’ve never done this before so I’m really excited. All of my front porch (except the rug) is old, but has been spruced up by paint this year.
Bench (I still need to repaint it) -Garden store (13 years ago) $35
Wicker chairs- Shopko (7 years ago) $20 each (end of summer clearance sale) Paint this year- $12
Round table- Tai Pan Trading (last year) $12 (tent sale)
Chair cushions- K-Mart 2 for $2 each (clearance sale)
Pillows- fabric from Joanne’s- $6 a yard (2 yards) down from $14 a yard
Rug- Wal-Mart $12 total (6 kitchen rugs ducted taped together on clearance for $2 each)
Plant stand- Garden store $12
Goose- yard sale $2
Pots- Garden store (terra-cotta painted yellow) 4 for .89 each (4) plus paint $3.97
Hanging baskets- Garden center 2 for $8 each
Little table in the back- don’t remember (spray painted top the same yellow as the pots)
Birdhouse- made by son in cub scouts
White urn- Tai Pan Trading $1.50 (damaged area)
About $167.00 Total
That’s pretty good for a space where Hubby and I love to spend time together once the kids have gone to bed.
