Last weekend, we took some time as a family, and drove to the mountains to experience the colors of Fall. It’s been so warm in the valley that the leaves are just beginning to change here, but the mountains were in full color. So, of course , the kids had to bring some of those beautiful leaves home.
The boys put the leaves in their rooms, but I was able to take a few from them first. I flattened them between 2 books for a few days.
Then I grabbed a frame from my frame stash. This frame has held photos and postcards in the past, now it’s perfect for the leaves.
I sandwiched the leaves between the 2 pieces of glass.
I love how they look floating in the glass.
Another simple and free decoration for Fall.
So pretty! Great idea.
That looks great!
What a great idea! I wish we lived close to the mountains so my kids could experience the changing leaves. Sadly, the leaves don’t really change here in TX.
And…I LOVE the picture of the temple. I want to get it!
Gorgeous! Gosh, I just love fall. What an awesome and simple idea.
I am enjoying my visit to your blog…hope you’ll pop over and visit me soon!
