I can’t believe it’s already November. The days are just flying by.
Here’s a little peek into our last week.
Emilee has been loving to bake lately. She made 2 dozen cupcakes after church last Sunday and by 10pm that night this is all that was left. I think I have some cupcake lovers in my family.
With Halloween being on Monday this year, it threw my whole week off. I kept thinking Halloween was on Saturday.
Doug came home sick on Halloween so I took the kids around trick-or-treating and he passed out candy. The weather was great for a Halloween night so we stayed out for about 2 hours. Here’s Ammon checking out some of his candy stash.
It was Young Women in Excellence Wednesday night. The Young Women sang a song then displayed some of their talents on tables after the talks. Emilee displayed the scrapbook she’s working on and the song she’s memorizing on the piano.
Whitney and I went to see My Fair Lady at the Hale Centre Theatre. I won tickets through Michelle at A Little Tipsy. The play was so fun and it was great to see Michelle and some of my other blogging friends again. We had appetizers before the play and I could actually eat some of them. It was a wonderful Girls Night Out.
We helped Chris celebrate his 28th birthday by making Broccoli Cheese Casserole for dinner and having cake and ice cream after. It was fun to have Emily, Parker, Ella, Whitney, Ty and Maddux help us celebrate.
Little Miss Ella (with only one piggy in) was loving the yummy cake.
And Parker devoured the cake and ice cream.
On Saturday I started the big basement clean out, basically everything not in a storage area will be cleared out of the basement. I’m going to start on sealing the floor tomorrow and hopefully be progressing pretty quickly on getting the craft room finished.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’m looking forward to a productive week.
