Sunday– It’s so wonderful to see your 11 year old boy turn into a caring young man. Emilee was cold during church today. Zach took off his jacket and not only gave it to Emilee, he put it around her shoulders. I was so teary eyed I could hardly see and my heart was about to burst. What a sweet boy!
Monday– The boys and I went on a hike through Adam’s Canyon today. It was the perfect day for a hike. We started out with jackets, but took them off through most of the hike. The water was high and running pretty fast and we ran into snow at the top. If you want to see more of the hike go here.
Tuesday– The boys are off track and when we aren’t going on field trips they think of ways to entertain themselves. Silly Putty makes for a great mustache.
Wednesday– I took the boys to the Ogden Nature Center. It was a little cold and windy that day, so I wore a jacket but the boys boycotted. We had a fun time exploring even tough some of the trails were blocked by water. Zach and Ammon found some other water to play in. You can see more about the Ogden Nature Center here.
Thursday– We met Whitney and Maddux at the Zoo. What a gorgeous day to be outside. It was a perfect day to walk around looking at the animals and to have a picnic. The Zoo was hosting a scavenger hunt and gave the boys a prize at the end. I’ll have a post written about the zoo next week.
Friday– My tulips are finally up. I’m actually surprised I have any. I thought I had accidentally tilled them all up last year, so I was so happy to see them. I did till a lot of them up though and need to plant new bulbs this year. We worked on the yard this weekend. It needs a lot of work.
Saturday– Of course we had soccer games today, but it was so good to finally have nice weather to watch them in. One of the moms had these cookies made for the boys on Ammon’s soccer team. They were huge and the boys loved them. Emilee ran a 5K this morning too. I wish I could have ran with her, but my health isn’t permitting it right now. Yay, for warmer weather! I hope it continues. Please excuse the picture, hubby took it with his phone.
