The younger kids actually gave me my present the day before Mother’s Day.
I’ve been wanting the van detailed for a long time and it was the perfect Mother’s Day present.
They worked so hard on it and did an amazing job (hubby helped and supervised).
It was so wonderful to drive to church in a sparkling clean van. I think it will stay that way for a while too.
My kids aren’t really very messy in the car unless we’re going on a long trip (then it’s a disaster).
I got a card from each one of the kids.
Since Ammon’s was in Chinese he had to read his to me.
Ammon made this tile at school. Isn’t it adorable?
He said we just went shopping for new clothes.
That could explain the expression on my face.
I also got a CD, framed quote, and a soap flower.
Adam gave me a small carrot cake too, but we ate that.
It was raining the whole day, but hubby grilled chicken for me anyway.
I think he was grilling under an umbrella,
but since I was napping I guess I wouldn’t know.
Isn’t that sweet? Grilling in the rain and letting me nap.
For dessert we had cheese cake with cherries on top.
Or in my picky kids case, just cheese cake.
Thanks hubby and kids for making this a wonderful Mother’s Day!
I love you all with all heart!
Sounds like a great Mother’s Day–mine was sweet too 🙂
What a lovely Mothers Day, sometimes it’s life’s simple things, like grilled chicken, that make all the difference.
That tile is so precious!
