Sunday– This was the end of our Utah Temple Tour week. We stopped in Cedar City on our way home to visit with Chris’s family. It was so fun to hang out with Ella and Parker for a few hours. They are the cutest kids and so funny. Zach and Parker love hanging out together and playing games. Emily fixed us hubby’s favorite dinner. I should really start making it for him at home.
Monday– I love Sunsets. Today was basically a rest day from all our travels last week. I’m pretty sure we did absolutely nothing all day. Do you want to know what we had for dinner? A veggie tray.
Tuesday– I took the kids to the Ogden Dinosaur Park today. We hadn’t been there for about a year so some of the inside exhibits were new. The boys love the dinosaur park. After hubby got home from work we ate a quick dinner then went up to the Hogle Zoo. It was “Open Late til 8” for zoo members. It was a lot cooler in the evening and there weren’t very many people there. Our favorite part was seeing one of the monkey’s cuddled up in a blanket with a stuffie. He looked like a baby. It was a fun day for the kids.
Wednesday– Today was another stay at home day. The kids swam in the morning and the boys played legos all afternoon. They built a Sponge Bob city. They built a Chum Bucket, Krusty Krab, Sponge Bob’s House, Squirdward’s House, and Patrick’s House. Then played with it for hours. Emilee had an orthodontist appointment. She is so excited! She only has 6 weeks before they come off. That’s about a year earlier than estimated. I guess it pays to wear your elastics everyday.
Thursday– Today I took the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium. Why is everything clear down in Salt Lake, an hour away from us? They had a fun time. They love the penguins and touching the rays. It’s harder to touch the rays here than at Sea World. They don’t like to come to close to the surface. The water was past Emilee’s elbow. I got a living room wall painted too. I can’t wait to show you once I get it decorated.
Friday– We stayed at home again today and the kids swam a lot. It was hot so there were plenty of popsicles eaten. Hubby has finally taken everything out of the first RV he needs so we are going to be getting rid of it on Monday. If you don’t know the story of the 2 RVs I’ll have to share soon, but it’s such a long story it’s for another day. I told hubby he should have started a blog about it. I didn’t want to cook again so we had Chinese.
Saturday– The boys did their chores, played outside, went swimming, then apparently needed a rest on my bed. The older kids were watching an alien movie and the boys weren’t wanting to watch so they went in my room. Then Ammon crashed.
I hope you had an amazing week! Thanks for visiting!
