Sunday- My boys after Church. Aren’t they handsome? In a few minutes they’ll have their ties off and be eating lunch. During the warmer months they also take their shirts off and run around shirt less with only their church pants on for the rest of the day.
Monday– It was Martin Luther King Jr. Day today and since hubby is working for a bank now he gets the day off. The kids had the day off from school too, so we went to see Narnia. The theatre was packed. The kids liked the movie, but the sea serpent was a little scary for Ammon. Amanda went snowboarding with some friends and Adam had to work. Mmmmm, laffy taffy.
Tuesday– On Tuesday afternoons I help for a little while in Ammon’s Chinese class. Mrs. Chen says the characters and writes them on the board and the kids write them in their books. The parents go around the room and make sure the kids are making the characters correctly and check them off when they’re finished. Hey, I might actually learn how to write some Chinese characters.
Wednesday- This is it. All the snow we have left in our yard. That is so unusual for this time of year, especially since our house is north facing. I need it to snow again to cover up the weeds I didn’t pull out in the Fall.
Thursday– I got my haircut today and had my stylist curl it for me. It turned out so cute that I just had to take a picture of it in the rear view mirror. I needed a break day so I did a lot of shopping, mostly window shopping but it was really fun just looking at beautiful things and being inspired for things to make for my own home.
Friday– Whitney, Ty, and Maddux came over for a few hours. Maddux was wearing the beanie I made. Well, partially made. My friend had to finish it for me. I need a lot more practice. Isn’t he so cute in it though?
Saturday– Hubby and I went out for our date night. We went to dinner and a movie (our usual). I chose to go to McGrath’s and then we went to The Tourist. I love these lights in the restaurant.
