So where do you store all those little trinkets and collections your kids have? I found these cute little lunch box “look alikes” at Roberts Crafts and knew they would be perfect for my boys eraser collections. Then I found these cute boyish papers and knew they would match my boys rooms perfectly.
Start by tracing the shape of the box on the back of the scrapbook paper, then cut it out to fit the front and back of the box.
Use a glue stick to adhere the paper to the box.
And then use a little roller to make sure there’s no bubbles and it’s stuck down good.
To make the labels, trace some shapes you like onto the paper of your choice.
Cut them out , ink the edges, and stamp the label or you can write it if you have nice handwriting.
Attach the label to the front of the box with a glue stick and add any embellishments you’d like. Because these are for boys I didn’t want them to be too fancy. I attached some gears used in scrapbooking to the handles with twine. Mod Podge over the scrapbook paper to protect it.
Here’s one of the eraser collections.
I’ve been wanting to make one of these since last Summer when I was always running in the house to grab a band-aid. I plan on taking it outside, by the pool, just in case of emergencies once warm weather hits. This box is a little different, but you can find it in the same area. Start by wrapping paper around the box using a glue stick.
How cute is this paper? I’m using one of the frames as a label. Just cut it out.
Spell out your words using rub-ons. Then use a popsicle stick to rub it onto the paper. Always start in the middle and work out. That way you don’t have to measure and it still comes out even. I added a ribbon around the top of the paper using hot glue.
Add your first aid supplies to the box.
And you have a portable “boo boo box”.
These cute boxes can be used for so many things: recipe cards, craft supplies, trading cards, a gift full of beautiful cards, pictures. Really anything you can think of.
The band-aid box is super cute in yellow! I might have to do this project!
These are great!!!!! I love how you have a little craft roller for your paper projects… I sort of want one now! =)
LOVE the boo boo box.
I love the Boo Boo Box … we may have to copy that for our poolside too!
That’s very cute!
Love your idea! It came out so cute! I am stopping over from Making the World Cuter and I am a new follower!
