Monday- We drove back home from Cedar City today. This is what we came home too. Snow! It snowed on us almost the whole 4 hours home, which actually took 5 hours because of the weather. This is going to be a great Spring break for the kids.
Tuesday- We won’t be playing outside in the nice Spring warmth today, so we’ll go to the movies instead. Luckily there were some good kid movies to choose from. We decided to go to “How To Train Your Dragon”. Cute show! The kids loved it and they got all the refills of popcorn they wanted.
Wednesday- Still too cold to actually go outside and do something fun. I had a doctors appointment then I called Hubby and invited him to lunch with me and the kids. We went to Iceberg. The mini shakes are huge. Enough for 3 people to share. We had lots of greasy diner food and ice cream. So much for eating good today. Don’t you love the look of this place?
Thursday- I had to stay home today and get some things done around the house. I still hadn’t done all the laundry from our trip down South over Easter. The kids just played. It was a little warmer, so they could go outside for a while. I meant to get caught up on everything today, but of course I didn’t.
Friday- The kids and I needed some time to be creative and craft, so we decided to make pinwheels. Mostly because I already had all the supplies we needed. They all did a great job and we had a lot of fun with little clean up. Now I also have a cute centerpiece for the dining table. Bonus!
Saturday- Since soccer has started, our Saturdays are now centered around soccer. Ammon played a great game today. They were 3 boys short, so they all had to play the full game. What troopers! They really pulled it off and played their best. Those little guys did an amazing job and Ammon ran his little heart out. He’s in red and blue.
We’re ready for warmer weather and more time being outside. Yay, for Spring!
I like the pinwheel making idea. Please share how to make them sometime.
