Emilee and I had a movie night a few nights ago while hubby and the boys were having a night out.
I’m sure a lot of you have the same problem as I do.
I can’t just sit and watch a movie, so I made some pillows for Emilee’s bed.
This scarf came with a sweater I bought a few years ago.
I wear the sweater all the time but I have never worn the scarf.
It’s not my style, but I thought it would make a cute pillow or 2.
I cut it in half to make 2 pillows.
One side is covered in sparkly sequins and the other side is partially covered.
I sewed them right sides together, turned them right side out and stuffed them.
Then I hand stitched the small opening closed.
Emilee loves her little soft sweater pillows.
Aren’t they so cute with her other pillows?
I love being able to find new uses for things I have lying around.
What about you? Have you recycled any items lately?
They look amazing! Such a great idea! I’ve got a scarf my sister in-law gave me that I love but never have anything to wear it with, I will have to try this!
What a great idea and I love it when we can find another purpose for old things we don’t use. Better than throwing away or just letting unused things take up space. OH, I really love the splash of green added to the mix.
What a fun idea. We loved having you link up to our “Strut Your Stuff Saturday.” We hope you’ll be back! -The Sisters
Super great idea! I’ve never thought of using a scarf for that before! I’m so going to try this!
