Cream Cheese Pockets

These are delicious! I mean seriously delicious! You have to make them at least once and then you’ll want to make them again and again.
Just don’t make them too often, they’re definitely not low calorie.
Here’s what you need:
2 cans crescent rolls
2 8-oz. packages cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
cinnamon and sugar mix

Unroll one can crescent rolls and place in greased 9 x 13″ pan.

Cream together cheese, sugar, and egg yolk. Spread on rolls.

Unroll other can of crescent rolls and lay on top of mixture. Then whip egg white and brush on top.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Let cool a bit before cutting into it or the filling will be too runny. Hubby ate one bite and said “thank you for making this heavenly dessert.” Yeah, I think he liked it.
