Ammon’s Upstairs Room

Ammon’s been wanting to move to the empty upstairs bedroom, so last month I finally moved him up there. Then just 2 days later we decided we were moving. Oh well, at least he had a few weeks in his new bedroom. He wanted me to show you pictures. It’s nothing amazing since we knew it was temporary, but he loves it and spends a lot of time in it so I told him I would share it with you. There are 7 project links in this post. This will be the last time he will be able to have a fort under his bed since he will be sharing a room with Zach in the new house. He’s enjoying every minute of it. Check out how I made the fort.

I didn’t want to put shelves back up since it was going to be for such a short time, so I gave Ammon one of the bookshelves from my craft room. He arranged all the Lego creations himself. This is how I keep all those Lego instruction manuals organized.

He uses this little picnic table to build his Legos on. I have some fun plans for the table and bench once we move.

Ammon also uses the table for art projects so his art supplies are on the window sill next to the table.

Ammon hangs all of his Chinese charms on the cork board plus some of his favorite papers. Here’s the link to how I painted the cork board.

He loves his globes and typewriter case, so I just stored them under the window. He puts all his favorite little toys in the case. Here’s the link to how I painted the case and check out how I lined the inside.

I will be packing up his room in a few days then we will have to figure out how to arrange Ammon and Zach’s new room once they are sharing. That’s the fun part about moving!
