I got this idea from PK at Room Remix. I was at Ben Franklin and saw theses daisies (they were 60% off). Then I remembered her daisykin, so I thought I’d give it a try. I already had the pumpkin on the front porch.
I was just going to hot glue the daisies on but that wasn’t really working. So I reached for the closest thing I had to make holes with and that was my screwdriver. I made the holes, then put hot glue on the little stem and stuck it in the pumpkin. It worked great!
Now my little daisy pumpkin is back on the front porch. It can’t wait till Halloween when all the cute little girls dressed up as princesses and fairies say how cute it is. How long do you think it will last now that I’ve poked holes in it?
Don’t you think these would look great down the center of the table at Thanksgiving Dinner? Maybe with smaller pumpkins hollowed out, with votive candles in them also. I think I might have to try that.
Have a beautiful weekend!

Oh I just love this! What a great idea.
This is so cute and super fun! Good job. 🙂
Hi Leanne! Thanks for letting me know you did this! I think it turned out great! I kind of actually like the larger flowers better than the smaller ones I used. Also easier and less expensive to do it that way. I also like your idea of using them on the table. Hope you’re having a good day!

So pretty! I love it! PK is full of creative ideas. Your daisykin is just so cute and it is a great idea for a Thanksgiving centerpiece!
Thanks for adding your pretty project to the Show & Tell! 🙂

I love it, so pretty with the flowers. What a cute idea! We have a pumpkin decorating contest at work each year and I have never found a good glue that sticks to pumpkins. I usually use thumbtacks to hold stuff to the pumpkin.
