It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for a post from one of my fabulous contributors. I love this adorable You’ve Been Egged printable by Sarah. I can’t wait to do this to my neighbors!

Hi everyone!

Remember last month, when I shared those mason jar labels and I said to be sure to check back next month for a super cute Easter printable? Well, that time has finally come!

You've Been Egged - a fun Free printable game to play with your neighbours and friends this Easter!

This is a game we love to play at Halloween (ever play “You’ve Been Booed?”) so I thought it would be fun to put an Easter spin on it. To play along, all you need to do is print off this cute little door hanger, get 12 Easter egg treats (fill the plastic ones with jelly beans or a little chocolate), and hide them in a friend or neighbours yard. Hang the door hanger on the door, ring the doorbell, and run away. (Or do it while they aren’t home of course!) Then, after they find the eggs, they fill them back up and pass it on.

I was going to do a real version of this game and take some photos for you, but when I looked out my front door, this was all I saw:

Kinda kills your desire to hide Easter eggs! You have one month, Mother Nature – one month to clean this white mess up and start heading into spring!

Anyway, perhaps it isn’t so white where you are, and you are actually getting prepared for Easter – in which case, print this baby out and start having some fun with the neighbours! The kids will have a ball, both hiding and finding the eggs – and especially running away after they ring the doorbell :)

Thanks for such a fun idea and cute printable Sarah! Don’t forget to check out her blog, Becoming Martha, for more printables and other great ideas.

there were a few Easters that our mother made interesting with snow on the ground while daffodils were trying to make a show of it. she was a wizard with some food coloring and little snow eggs that had some foil wrapped goodies to keep them dry inside. we had some messy hands but what a great memory of a mother that knew how to help us find enjoyment in whatever the situation. She and my father were saying right up to their leaving for Heaven that the weather is something one cannot control so lets find a way to make it pleasant. even the February cabin fever had some interesting happenings. Miss them both terribly, still.

I absolutely love this idea but your snow picture literally made me LOL. It’s been like that around our house too. We can see patches of grass now but something tells me that this particular winter isn’t going to let go just yet. This could well be a snow-on-Easter sort of year. I hope not, but I have to think it’s a possibility.
