I saw these buckets at Michael’s for $1 and knew they would be perfect for the boy’s trick-or-treat buckets. The bucket on the left is really a deep purple, I don’t know why it looks pink in the picture.
I used my Cricut to cut out the vinyl letters. I used contact paper instead of white vinyl, because it’s cheaper and the roll lasts forever. If you want a hint about the giveaway next week, it has to do with getting vinyl less expensively (same quality, less cost).
The buckets are quite large and will hold plenty of that yummy goodness we gorge ourselves with every Halloween. My kids are so generous with sharing their candy. Maybe a little too generous.
$2 and about an hour for new trick-or-treat buckets. Not bad! Now if they can just decide what they want to be for Halloween.
Oh ! so Cute! I need one of those Cricut things!!

Very cute! I need a cricut!
I just posted a Trick or Treat Bucket yesterday! Great minds… LOL. I wanted to do vinyl like you, but ended up with a paint pen. And I’m actually going to use mine to house the candy we hand out (it’s way to big for my toddlers to lug around!). Yours came our really cute! Nice!!
