Well, we’re winding down our Summer Fun List. We’ve had a great summer and the kids are back in school now, but the weather is warm so we’re still working on our list.Here are a few more things we did on our list.
Picnic and playing at West Point playground. The kids love this playground. Hubby started taking the kids to this park when I worked evenings. They would get a slurpee and then head to the park after dinner:

I think we like the wet rides. It was a hot day. We had a great time and stayed till it closed. Of course, we bought a couple bags of cotton candy on our way out (because you can never have enough sugar in your kids before they go to bed).
Have a beautiful weekend! And do something really fun. I’m running in a 5K tomorrow morning. You might want to pray for me. I haven’t ran in a race since I was in Jr. High and on the track team. Wow, that was a long time ago. My goal: to finish by running the whole time. My dad’s running in one tomorrow too (he’s 69 and a great motivator for me). Good luck dad!
