Remember these branches I cut off my tree in the front yard?
Then I brought them in the house, put them in a tall vase and added snowflakes to them for a winter tree.
I decided I wasn’t quite ready to throw the branches away and try to come up with a new centerpiece right now. So, I pulled out my Valentine’s Day tote and searched for things to hang from the branches.
Okay, I love it! The little bird is an ornament I bought after Christmas years ago. That’s the best time to buy ornaments, especially one’s you’d like to use for other holidays.
I really love red. You already know that, if you’ve seen my living room walls.
I love all the pretty hearts too.
Sorry, I’m just playing with my camera now. That’s probably enough pictures. Anyway, these branches are for sure staying up till after Valentine’s Day.
Maybe till after St. Patrick’s Day. Wouldn’t they look great with shamrocks hanging from them? Come to think of it they might look great with Easter eggs hanging from them too. Okay, you’re right. I might be getting carried away. Well have to see.
I would love to find a very thin artificial tree to keep up all year round to decorate as a holiday tree, but I haven’t it yet.
Too cute! My 11 year-old would LoVe a headband in her school colors: black with a burnt orange flower.
Thanks for sharing a new blog!
First I wanted to say what an adorable tree – that has me all inspired to make one before the holiday!
Secondly, thans to you and FF for the wonderful giveaway, the headbands are absolutely adorable! If chosen, I would keep for myself (evil laugh) so adult size, in spruce and kiwi – it would not matter which color was the band, and which was the flower. Those are my two favorite colors and it would match everything! (Or cream accent, if those two colors don’t look as good together in real life as my imagination made them!)
Thank you so much for the chance to enter!
OOOHHH!!! Too cute. I can already feel myself going overboard, shopping at her site! I’d love to wind a Forgotten Freckles headband in spruce with a cream flower.
LOVE these headbands! Just found your website as well. I can see myself shopping for my grandkids as well. I would love to have a headband for myself though in cranberry and cream. Or cranberry and heather gray. Thanks for the chance to enter!!!
your valentine branch-tree is so clever and sweet! great give-away too. hugs!
We don’t have branches like that out here in Barren Land, but oh how beautiful they look on your table all festooned with love.
Somehow I don’t think the effect would be the same with a stalk of saguaro….
So simple yet soooo pretty! Love it!
Love the Vday tree!! That bird is awesome!! 🙂 And yep you can stalk me anytime! Right back at ya!! 🙂
You have a Valentine’s tree too :). Love it! And that little bird is precious.
Kaitlyn and Ashlyn would both love to win a headband. They like the raspberry and cream.
That reminds me – I used to do that years ago for the kids, for each holiday, only not nearly as elegant as yours. Very nice!
Why don’t you come on over to my blog and visit a while
Great idea! And definitely could be used year round!
Another great idea! i just got some twigs out the yard, so they would be dried before it started to snow tomorrow!!! Can’t wait to do that project! Coming soon!
What a sweet tree!
Love your Valentine tree. Too cute!

So cute! I don’t generally decorate for Valentine’s Day, but this has inspired me!
Simple and sweet!
