I spent a week with my daughter and her family in Canada. My family is hard to cook for because they’re very picky (including Hubby), but this is something they might actually like. She fixed this for dinner one night and I thought I’d share it with you.
1 package pork chops
Sauce:
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup salsa
1 cup water
1 tsp worchestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 Tbls butter
tobasco sauce to taste – she put in four shakes
Mix ingredients for sauce together and heat on low about 15 minutes.
Brown pork chop and put in baking dish.
Cover with sauce.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1- 1 1/2 hours.
Serve over rice.
She served it with Jasmine rice and it was delish.
This looks delish. I think I have just added pork chops to this weekends shopping list. I’m all for simple and yummy and it looks like this one does both. )
