Thursday was the perfect day to go to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. At times we felt like we were the only ones in the park. We had never been to the park before and boy was I impressed. It feels different being able to walk through areas where birds and animals are flying and walking around than when you are looking at them through a net or glass. Our favorite part was the “Journey Into Africa” train ride. The animals have so much land to be able to roam around and interact with each other. Here are some highlights:
Have you seen Lion King 1 1/2? Oh, it’s soooo funny. When Timon and the other Meerkats were digging tunnels they would sing a song, Dig, dig, dig, dig a tunnel, dig, dig, dig, dig a tunnel. We couldn’t help but sing when this little guy started digging. Isn’t he so cute?

We had a great time! Today we went to SeaWorld and had an even better time. It wasn’t hot and was overcast today so we didn’t get too much sun. I’ll have pictures as soon as I have time to get them on the computer.
