I love having a large craft stash. If I’m low on cash and feel like crafting I do a little shopping in my room. I’ve had these tiny glass bottles for a few years but never knew what to do with them. I bought them at a scrap booking clearance sale for about .10 cents each. It was such a great deal that I knew I would come up with something eventually. I still have a few of them and have a few more creative ideas but right now let’s make some darling Pot ‘o Gold pendants for St. Patrick’s Day.

Here’s what you need:
Tiny glass bottles
20 gauge wire (I used gold tone)
Small gold confetti
Gold glitter
Gold beads
Wire cutters
Jump ring
necklace chain
I started by taking the eye hooks out of the cork tops since I wanted to wrap wire around the top of the bottle to hang the pendant from. You can leave the hooks in if you prefer.
Cut the wire 6-8 inches so you have plenty to work with. Wrap the wire around the top of the bottle twice.
Twist the wire together where it joins making sure it’s as close to the bottle as possible.
Make a loop with the wire and wrap it around the other wire once more. Cut both wires as close to the loop as possible.
Attach the jump ring to the wire through the loop. I didn’t have a gold jump ring at the time so I used brass. I’m going to change it to gold as soon as I get a chance.
Little Bottles of Gold! Fill with your choice of fillers. I used small confetti, glitter, and beads. Which is your favorite filler?
I love wearing unusual jewelry pieces especially for holidays. I’m going to have fun wearing these up until St. Patrick’s Day.
They look cute displayed too!
