Oops! I forgot about Peek Through Last Week yesterday. So here you go.
Sunday- We went to Church in Cedar City. We were still visiting with Whitney and Ty, Chris and Emily. Their church starts at 9:00 which is pretty early to get everyone up, fed, bathed, hair done, dressed and out the door. So, we were all in a hurry. Especially Ty because he has to get there early to play the prelude music. That’s when it happened. Crunch!!! That jeep in front of the van hit us. See that hand, yeap, he’s the one that did it. We still love him anyway. We just had to pound it out a little before we could drive home. The new fender was ordered and Hubby will put it on soon.
Monday- We went to Fazoli’s again for our family dinner out. The kids love coming here, but I don’t think it’s because of the dinner. It’s because they love the dessert breadsticks. Okay, Hubby and I do too.
Tuesday– Every Tuesday morning I go into the school with the kids and sign in as a volunteer. I fill and stamp the Tuesday folders for Ms. Morton/Mr. Lan’s morning and afternoon kindergarten classes. Zach goes a different direction to class, but I get to walk with Emilee and Ammon to their classes. Once I’ve said bye to Ammon I start on the folders. It takes about an hour to get them stuffed, sorted, dated and filed into their cubbies. These were the inserts for this week.
Wednesday- This little cutie was born today. Ella Mae Jacobs. I can’t wait to see her and hold her. She’s amazing and what a blessing to her family.
Thursday– My first pedicure and boy did I love it. I’m going to have to refrain myself from having one every month now. My feet haven’t looked this good in years. I’m just sad it was only an hour. I could have stayed there for 2 hours easily.
Friday– I went to the Ogden Temple with the youth to perform baptisms. I love the Temple and the grounds around it. I just had to take a picture. In a few months it’s going to close while it’s being remodeled. It won’t look the same after that. I have beautiful memories of it looking like this. Doug and I used to go here during the day when he was out of a job, Chris came here before his mission and it’s been our Temple for 16 years now. I know it’s not the best looking one, but it has memories I will always hold dear.
Saturday– Ammon’s last soccer game of the season. It was snowing at the beginning of the game, then the sun came out and warmed us up. I love cheering for these little guys. They are so great to watch and they put their whole heart and soul into this last game. Here’s their final cheer for this season.
That’s it! Have a Wonderful Week!
What an exciting week Leanne! Glad to hear no one was injured in your fender bender!
With the exception of that first day (crunch!) your week was a full and wonderful one! Your new little grandbaby is adorable. Just so you know — pedicures are addicting and you might have already been bitten by the bug. Fun recap of your week.
They’re going to remodel the outside of the temple??? I didn’t know they could(or would) do that. Although it is not the prettiest, I do like how it is unique and kind of 60’s/70’s looking.
Our ward starts at 9am, too and I do not like it. We used to start at 10, but now share with a branch, so we had to start earlier.
Your first pedi? I hope you are now hooked! I have been away from blogging a bit due to the loss of my brother. It is good to be back as I missed your blog. Have fun in Hawaii!
