I guess being sick for a whole week makes me forget things. I’m posting my Peek through Last Week a little late this week, but I’m still going to post it because it’s a way for my family to see pictures and what’s been going on during the week.
Sunday- Whitney and Ty and Chris, Emily and Parker were up from Cedar City for Spring Break. Ammon and Zach got the Nerf guns out and started shooting at each other. After a few minutes Chris found a gun or two and started joining in. Soon they were all running around the house shooting, hiding, and yelling time out so they could gather up the bullets to shoot some more. Chris had an extra gun hidden behind his back.
Monday- Okay, so shooting the Nerf guns has continued to another day. Now hubby has gotten into the act too. I’m finding bullets everywhere. Under things, behind things and stuck to things, like the wall at the end of the hall. Those are all bullets. I think there’s still one stuck on the wall.
Tuesday- It was a pretty nice day today, so I went outside to do some painting and the kids came out in the back yard to play. Whitney came out too and even though she’s 32 weeks pregnant she did a handstand. What a show off. Not too bad! Pretty impressive , huh? (Please don’t look at my back yard, it’s been covered in snow).
Wednesday- St. Patrick’s Day. The kids got green shirts to wear to school, green Chinese boxes filled with gold coin candy and shamrock confetti everywhere. The leprechaun colored the milk green and they had Lucky Charms for breakfast. It was a fun start to the day except Ammon woke up with a fever and felt miserable. He wanted to go to school so bad and participate in the fun things they were doing that day, but he spent most of the day in my bed watching cartoons or sleeping.
Thursday- I can’t believe it! It’s time to register the girls for classes next year. Emilee’s going into 7th grade and Amanda’s going into 10th. Where did the time go? I don’t know if I’m ready for them to move up to a new school. Zach and Ammon will be in Elementary by themselves now. These next few years are going to go by so fast. I better get ready for this!
Friday- Today was the Medieval Fair for the 6th grade students. There were things they needed to do and accomplish leading up to this day. Emilee fulfilled all the requirements so she could be a Queen and have all the privileges that go along with that. She had a great day of being able to be first in line for things, having other people serve her lunch and having extra recess time.
Saturday- Hubby turned 50 this year and I guess he decided he needed a huge project to work on, so he bought 2 very damaged RVs. One has most of the damage in the front and the other has most of the damage in the back. He’s going to take parts from one to put into the other and hopefully in the end we’ll have one usable RV. Sounds easy, right? HAHAHA! I think this is going to take a while. I’ll keep you up on the progress. He has already pretty much gutted the one we’re keeping.
