Sunday- We try to keep Sunday’s pretty mellow after Church. It’s a good time for the kids to work on their Faith in God books or on Personal Progress. Sometimes they are able to finish a whole project or experience in one day. If not, at least they have a good start and an idea of what they want to work on for the rest of the week. Emilee’s studying “The Family: A Proclamation to the World”.
Monday- Today (or should I say tonight) I left for Canada to visit Traci and her family. Doug mistakenly made my reservation to leave at 11:50 pm instead of 11:50 am. That means I was on the red-eye. The plane was 100% full and very crowded. I arrived in New York at about 7 am. The flight to Vermont had been delayed by 2 hours so I was waiting in JFK Airport for about 3 1/2 hours. It was such a long day (or night).
Tuesday- I finally arrived in Cowansville, Quebec, Canada at about noon today. Oh, I’m so tired, but so excited to visit with all three of my little grandsons. Sebastien was born on February 16. I’m glad to be able to spend some time with my daughter and her family. It will be a nice visit getting to know my grandsons better.
Wednesday- It’s been snowing at Traci’s house today. The trees are so pretty with all the snow on them. I’ve never been here when there wasn’t snow on the ground. I would love to see it in the Spring or Summer. Adam was born 20 years ago today. Now he’s completed Basic Training and is at AIT in Maryland right now. I was able to talk to him and wish him a Happy Birthday and so was everyone at home. He’ll be home the end of April. It will be great to see him again.
Thursday- Sebastien had his first outing today. We all went to pick Benjamin up from Preschool and then ran a few errands. Sebastien did really well for his first time, but he was ready to eat when we got home. It’s so cold here. Just to run errands, Traci has to put them in coats, snow pants, hats, mittens and snow boots. Ben made a ladybug at school today. So Cute!
Friday- Traci had painted one of the walls in her new family room a green, but it wasn’t the green she was thinking of. It was a mint green and she was going for more of an olive green. Today she decided to repaint that one wall. This green is so much prettier and it matches the pillows I gave her perfectly.
Saturday- When Hubby comes to visit Traci takes him to see the sights. I have never gone to see the sights around this area. Mostly because the babies are always so young and it’s a little early to expose them to a lot of people. We decided to be brave and take in a few sights of Montreal. I’ll do another post about that later.
Just a fun week in Canada!
I enjoy your blog and your projects! I was curious about the Faith in God book or personal progress. What are these? Thank you!
