Sunday– Sunday was our church’s General Conference. We get to stay home and watch our Prophet, General Presidencies and other speakers share the gospel with us while watching TV in the comforts of our own home. I love General Conference and the Sunday sessions are always more relaxing for me. Half of us were still in our pajamas and half of us were dressed for the first session. You’re not going to believe this but I was one of the dressed ones. I always take notes (at least on the Sunday sessions) and love to read back on them for talks or lessons. The boys were playing Conference Bingo and listening really good for the first hour. I totally lost them on the second hour.
Monday– Whitney and TY got a new (new to them) cross over SUV. They sold their Jeep last week. Maddux loves to drive so I snapped this quick picture of him driving his new car.
Tuesday– Amanda and Emilee were out for Spring Break this week. They’ve been hanging out with friends, going swimming, and to the movies. I promised to take the girls out to lunch sometime this week so Amanda picked The Pizza Factory today. The bread twists with ranch dressing is my favorite. We had a fun time just talking and laughing and spending some time together before I left for the weekend.
Wednesday– It was Stacie’s turn to be in charge of Activity days this week and she came up with the cutest idea. We “egged” the Bishop’s office with poster board eggs. It turned out really cute and the girls had a fun time making them. Kids can be so creative if you just give them a piece of colored paper, a paper punch, markers and a few stickers. I love how they turned out. We hope the Bishop likes them.
Thursday through Sunday– I was attending my first blog conference. I’m still in a fog, but it was a blast. I met so many amazing women and learned so much about how to make my blog grow and connect better with my readers and fellow bloggers. I’ll share some of my experiences and pictures later. I didn’t take many pictures because I would get so wrapped up in the moment so I might have to steal some from my awesome blogging friends. Hopefully they only put up the flattering pictures and not the really goofy ones we took, but since half of them were goofy that might be hard to do. Right now I’m going to play catch up on all the things I’ve neglected for the last 4 days.
We play conference bingo at our house and we just took our youngest this week to Pizza Factory and had yummy bread sticks.
