While I was in Canada Ammon got his Bobcat. He was so excited to get his face painted by his dad. Ammon also pinned the Bobcat pin on his dad since I wasn’t there. I was sad to miss it but happy that hubby remembered to take a picture for me.
I think I did 3 straight days of laundry trying to get caught up from my trip and making sure the kids had clothes to wear this week. Ammon was happy to earn some money folding socks.
I love Command Strips and use them all the time, but this is the first time I have ever been injured by one. I was taking one of the Command Hooks off when it came off fast and smacked me on the thumb knuckle. It swelled up instantly and I had a bruise covering my whole thumb for a week. Um, I’ll remember to hold the other part of the hook when I’m pulling the strip off next time.
I love awesome parent-teacher conferences. My boys try so hard and do so well in school, plus they have really awesome, caring teachers. Yay, for good conferences!
I know I’m behind everyone else in the blog world but I finally got out my Valentine’s Day decorations. I’ll be showing them over the next few days. This year the colors are red, pink, white and blue.
I have the best friends. I was taken to lunch, to dinner and received flowers from some wonderful friends this week. I hope I’m as good a friend to them as they are to me. They lift me up and help me relax and breath for a minute. Thank you to all of you too, for all your kind words and thoughts these past few weeks.
Ammon’s favorite thing to do lately is to visit the RV with hubby to blow the horn and talk on the CB. He loves talking to the truck drivers, but I think if he ever got a response it would totally freak him out.
Darn, I got smacked by a few command hooks last week too. It hurt! I hope you heal up soon!
Oh my gosh, I always smack my fingers with hooks when I’m trying to pull the 3m stickies off! You’d think I would have learned by now. Hope your thumb heals up quickly!
