This is actually 2 weeks because I didn’t post a Peek Through Last Week last Sunday.
Zachary was made a deacon in our church. Isn’t he so handsome in his suit and new glasses?
I won in Bunco! It’s a rare occurrence so I was pretty excited (okay, very excited). The prize was a giftcard to Tai Pan. I love Tai Pan!
Ammon made snowflakes at school and then he wanted to make more at home. He decided to decorate his door with them.
I bought the kids some new shoes with the Target giftcard I won. Don’t you just love new shoes?
Then I had to make an emergency trip to Canada. I always fly to the Burlington, Vt. airport. In the breezeway they have rocking chairs so you can sit and watch the planes come in. How cute is that?
I fly into Burlington because my daughter and her family live about midway between Montreal and Burlington. It takes forever to go through Customs at the Montreal airport. It’s so much faster just to drive through the border and it always seems to be deserted when we drive through.
I had to take this picture because my son-in-law is always saying arret to his kids. I always thought he was saying alright, like that’s enough. It never dawned on me he was actually saying arret. Duh, yeah I’m that quick.
Amanda’s going to hate this picture. This was once she was out of intensive care and doing much better. She was still in the hospital 3 more days after this. She’s back at home now and doing much better. She is having another scan on Thursday to make sure she is still improving. She won’t be able to travel for at least 3 more weeks.
It was fun to visit with the grandkids. Sebastian had just gotten up from a nap and Julien had just fallen asleep watching Cars 2.
Ben’s ready for school. It was so cold up there. I know I live in Utah but it’s so much colder there and the snow never melts.
Julien and Sebastian like to play on the computer once Ben leaves for school. Sebastian’s saying “cheese”.
It was so fun to see Layla and be able to snuggle and play with her.
We were trying to keep her awake a little longer but she didn’t last.
It’s good to be home. Why is it always so good to be home? I’m hoping this week is a little less eventful.
I hope you’re all having a Wonderful Weekend!
