Parade of Homes Preview (part 1)

I received a special invitation from Amy at ( Overstock) to view a home in this years Salt Lake Parade of Homes. Was I excited? Umm, yeah! The home is totally furnished with items from O.co. I love Overstock, and of course I found more things I want to buy from them now. Solstice Homes is the builder. I’ll talk more about the home and builder in part 2.

Please remember as you go through the pictures that the Parade of Homes doesn’t open until Friday, so the home is not completely staged yet. The home is totally furnished and accessorized with Overstock items. I love so many things in the living room especially the Eames rocker look-a-like (Vinnie White Cradle Chair). I’ve been wanting one of these for ages.

And these acrylic nesting tables are gorgeous. Hubby was looking through my pictures and mentioned he loved these tables. Hmm, really? Maybe these will be in my future some day.

Look at all these beautiful glass containers. I think I’ll take all of them.

You know I have a thing for chairs and I just can’t stop thinking about this one. Love it! I didn’t sit in it though so I don’t know how comfortable it is. I also love all the eye catching wall art chosen for this home.

Yep, I decided! I want this bed. Don’t you love it? It fits perfectly in this home. I think it would look pretty terrific in my home too.

And look at all the fun things going on in this bedroom. I love all the textures from the wall covering to the bedding to the flooring to the lamps.

This deck is fabulous and huge and I wanted to sit and take it all in, but my bum would have gotten wet and I was wearing white pants, so I decided to pass. But I can still dream of having this patio set on my deck.

Look at all the amazing pieces in this room. I really want that chair. I think I have a chair addiction. I love that tree stump side table too. Another want.

Some more awesome pieces waiting to be staged.

Ryan from O.co was there to greet us and show us to the home. What a nice guy and it was great talking with him. I also met Andrea who writes for the O.co blog. She was great to talk with also. We went through some of the rooms together and talked about the pieces. O.co also had a sweet gift bag for everyone.

A seriously sweet gift bag with a camera and Mrs. Fields cookies inside. How awesome is that?!

Disclaimer: O.co invited me to view the home. I did receive a lovely gift bag but I wasn’t compensated in any other way. My opinions are my own. And O.co (Overstock) rocks!

Love the Rooftops & O.co. What a combination! It looks like something you’d find in LA. It’s so chic. I look forward to Part 2 to hear more about the builder and the home. What a fun post.
