Monogram Coasters

I’m using things I have on hand to make Christmas gifts for family and friends this year. Yes, I have tiles on hand. I buy them when I can pick them up for .10 cents a tile or less. Check on the clearance carts at Home Depot or Lowes if you’d like to find some cheap tiles for coasters or other projects.

I cut out the monograms using my Cricut and brown vinyl. If you don’t have a cutting machine you could find a font you like, trace it on vinyl, and cut it out by hand.

First I centered the monogram on the top of each tile.

Then I cut out 4 felt squares slightly smaller than the tile.

And hot glued them on the bottom of each tile.

Just stack and wrap with a pretty bow and they’re ready for gift giving.

If you’re last name starts with a C or S, pretend you never saw this.

LOVE THESE!! I made some last year for quite a few people. Got rave reviews. I painted on my letters instead. Made a set for myself and they still look good after a year of constant use!

So clever. I just might have to make some of these for the craft fair I am doing, but instead with holiday images on them. Love it.

I love these, and there are so many designs one can put on them as well as far as decorating them goes. Simple, yet so pretty. 🙂
