You can’t be in San Diego and not visit the beach, so before we headed home we went to Mission Beach, played in the water a little and visited some shops. When we first got there it was only 65, by the time we left it was 75. Still really windy and a little chilly. Our plan was to just get our feet a little wet to see how cold the water was and then this happened to Hubby:
I know it looks bad, but it’s really ocean water. Ammon decided to walk in the water but still had his flip flops on. The water was trying to keep it so Hubby ran after it. What a great Dad, sacrificing dryness for a flip flop. And what was I doing? Cheering and taking pictures:
We just love the beach. There’s something about the breezes, the smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves coming to shore, the sand between our toes, and just dancing in the water.

And you can’t visit the beach without doing handstands and writing your name in the sand:

Awwww, so cute! Thanks Hubby!
Last, but not least, we visited a few more shops to spend our last little bit of money and rode a few more rides:
Look at these beautiful tiles. They’re on the outside of the restrooms:

We started for home, but spent the night outside of Las Vegas. We decided to break the drive up a little, so the kids ended up missing school today. We drove into our driveway at about 9:00pm tonight, tired but full of great memories.
Have a wonderful day!
i loved the trip mom and it was so exciting that i want to go again!
