We left California this afternoon and are heading back home for work and school. Do you have a hard time when vacations end? It’s always a little sad. Yesterday we went to Legoland. None of us had ever been there before and it was a fun place, especially for the little kids. It’s geared mostly towards kids 12 years and younger. Ammon is totally obsessed with Legos, so he was in heaven. He spent some of his birthday money on more legos.
May the force be with you:
Where should we start?
Hangin with Bob the Builder:
Zach has these skeletons from the Indiana Jones lego set so they had to pose with one of them:
Fighting the black knight:
Amanda misses talking on the phone:
I thought these pigeons were hilarious:
Driving the streets of Legoland:
Using kid power:
Posing with Indy:
Floating through Fairy Tale land:
In October Legoland has a Halloween Party every weekend.
We found out the kids could wear costumes that morning, so hubby went to Target and bought the boys a costume. Emilee got the wings and wand from one of the gift shops at the park:
There were some pretty interesting characters walking around:
Zach’s not shy. He went up on stage and started dancing during the costume contest:
Amanda really wanted her picture taken with these two:
Brick or Treating at the park:
Making lego pumpkins to put in the pumpkin patch:
We finally got to the Miniature Legolands after dark and all the Halloween fun. I thought this alien ship and aliens were so funny. Here are some of my other favorites:
This was our last park to visit. We had a great time and what a fun family vacation. I hope the kids remember it for a long time.
I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. I’ll be back to regular posts on Tuesday. Enjoy our vacation pictures until then.
