A leprechaun had a little fun at our house this morning. He made a little mess dropping shamrock sprinkles from his pockets as he was walking through the house.
But he left the kids some shirts to wear
and treats to eat.
Ammon thought it was silly he made the milk green, but was happy to have Lucky Charms for breakfast (I never buy them and he asks for them all the time).
Here’s the girls in their shirts
and the boys in theirs. Ammon’s sick so he’ll miss the celebration at school today. Poor little guy! He collected some of the shamrock sprinkles and is holding them because he says it will give him “good luck” to feel better.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Don’t forget to wear green!
What a nice mom you are. That makes this holiday that is overlooked fun.

I hope it’s okay to borrow your idea for my kids next year. Super cute idea. Did you make the shirts? I really like the “Pinch Proof” one.
Here’s my organizing tip for the mom with little imagination … I’ve started a holiday idea notebook. When I come across ideas like yours today I jot them down and file them in my notebook. I know it’s really simple .. but I need a lot of help in this department :)) Thanks for the cute idea.
That is cute! I remember in Kindergarten the leprechaun leaving a trail of gold dust (glitter) in the classroom and then we went on a treasure hunt on the playground. Memories… looks like your kids will have tons!
So cute! We didnt really do anything for St Pattys day. I didnt even really think about it. The kids wear uniforms and there’s no extra time in the morning.
