Happy Father’s Day

I hope all the fathers, husbands, sons, and brothers in your life had a wonderful day. We tried to make hubby’s day as relaxing and food filled as possible. The kids gave him things they made at school then we gave him a basket full of some of his favorite things.

We started with a puzzle that said “We love you because…” then the cutouts attached to the food said:
You’re the greatest dad and we would always “chews” you.
You’re a “Smart Pop” when you help us with homework.
You’re a “nut” and always make us laugh.
We “Skor” ed when we got you as a dad.
You make us feel special and not a “Zero”.
You give us lots of “kisses”.
You make us “Snicker” with your funny jokes.
You’re our “Lifesaver” everyday.
You make up funny words like a-what-a-hootie and “what-cha-ma-call-it”.

The 4 younger kids were excited to make it a great day for their dad. Whitney, Ty, and Maddux came over too and ate dinner and dessert with us.

Hubby wanted tacos for dinner. We bought Coke, Sprite, grenadine, and cherries to make his favorite drink. He could have a Cherry Coke everyday. We also bought him his favorite ice cream cake.

Happy Father’s Day to all the other men in my life, especially my dad. He’s the best dad in the world. Thank you for always being there and willing to help in any circumstance. We love you!
