I saw these cute little frames at the dollar store and decided to make a craft project out of them using our last name. First I had to spray paint them black, of course:
Then I took some of my favorite scrapbook paper and some rub-on letters to spell out our name:
This is the “C” and it’s hard to read so I used my handy dandy sharpie marker to fill in the letter:
There, that looks much better. Here’s the rest of the letters:
And here they are in the frames:
I’m not sure about the “A”. I might make a new one. It’s still a little hard to read because of the paper.
I don’t know where I’m going to put them yet. Maybe over all the kids school pictures in the loft or in the mudroom when it gets finished or maybe by the front door, because we have another family in the neighborhood named “Jacobson” and I get called that more than “Jacobs”. I could use it as a friendly reminder. I’ll let you know where I decide.
What a cute idea! I love that you found the frames at the dollar store! Bargain!! I didn’t notice that the “A” was hard to read until you said something about it. It’s easy to tell what it says if you don’t think about it:) Looks way cute!
That turned out so cute! Love the idea, thanks for sharing!

I really like that, and I like how you set them right next to each other, without any space between, I think that looks awesome!
