I added a few things to the entry wall this week. I wanted something in the empty frame I could switch out easily. So I thought, why not use vinyl?
I’ve been wanting to use the chandelier somewhere and this was the perfect place. I’m keeping the negative piece so I can use it as a stencil at a later time.
I love it here!
Then I wanted to add a little more Spring to the wall using these 2 cartridges.
You could also do this easily without a cartridge. The letters and flowers would be easy to cut with a craft knife.
I started by sticking the flower on to represent the letter “i”.
Then I continued adding the remaining letters, starting in the middle and working out. Yep, I eye-balled it again. I don’t like to measure, it takes too much time.
Here’s the 2 new vinyl pieces I added.
And the whole wall. I think I’ll keep it this way for a while (at least a week or two).
I love your wall. I have a cricut but for some reason, I can’t get it to cut through any of my paper. I even bought a new blade for it. I put it at the deepest cut but still. Once I figure this out, I want to try some of these projects.
Oh this is wonderful. I love all the black n white with a touch of color. Great job on the vinyling.
I would also like to know how you got the negative space to stay so neat…
I love your wall 🙂 The bow around the top of that frame is such a cute touch!
Looks great!!! I like it a lot 🙂
My current obsession is chandeliers, specifically those shown in silhouette… so needless to say I love this 🙂
What a cute idea. I have a cricut and haven’t even cracked it out of the box yet. Love your wall.
Oh how I love Spring…and I LOVE gallery walls! So inspiring!!
Love the new additions to your entry, nice little punch of color. Thanks for stopping by the party.
