2 ingredient DIY Air Freshener using essential oils.
Not only does this smell amazing but it’s only 2 ingredients so it’s fast and easy to make. You can’t beat that!
Supplies needed:
small mason jar
slotted jar lid
baking soda
essential oils (10-15 drops)
Fill the small jar about 3/4 of the way full with baking soda.
Then add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil. I used Serenity because it’s a calming blend and I thought that would be the best oils for me in my work area. Maybe I’ll just carry the jar around with me all day and see if that helps give me serenity I need. This blend includes: lavender oil, marjoram leaf oil, chamomile flower oil, sandalwood oil, and vanilla. I don’t use essential oils a lot but I have found some that work for me.
Cover the jar and shake gently. Screw the slotted lid on. This daisy one is actually meant for drinks with the straw in the middle, but it works perfectly for an air freshener jar too. If you don’t have a slotted lid you can use a piece of colored burlap or pretty patterned paper under the lid ring. Just poke several small holes in the paper to let the scent out.
These air fresheners would make a nice gift too. You could give one or several as a house warming gift. Fall or Christmas scents would be perfect for the upcoming holiday season. You could even give one with a baby gift to cover up smells in the nursery. What gift giving ideas do you have for these air fresheners?

I love this idea! How strong is the scent? Can you smell it throughout the whole room?

I am gonna try this air freshener right away. Thanks for sharing. Really seems like a good idea. And I would like to change the fragrance.
