I’m making the kids some new clipboards to go in the new mudroom. The clipboards aren’t finished yet (neither is the mudroom). I just need to do some more painting in the mudroom and I need to put initials on the clipboards. So I’m not showing you either of those and I’ll show you the clothespins I actually finished.
I used scrap pieces of paper and used Mod Podge to adhere them onto the clothespins. Just cut the paper to fit the surface of the clothespin (front and back). Then Mod Podge the paper on.
I like being able to use my scrap pieces on a cute project. Let dry, then Mod Podge over the top for a protective finish.
Remember these chalkboards I made a few months ago? Well, they’re magnetic too. They hang in the mudroom on the side of the row of lockers.
These clothespins coordinate with the kids’ new clipboards.
I thought they would work great for their lunch money or a note they need to take to school or even to hold a payment for lessons.
Here’s a peek at the mudroom. I promise it’ll be done soon now that Christmas is gone.
I’m excited to show you the new clipboards too. That will have to wait till tomorrow though.
I love your idea with the clothespins. So cute. What did you use for magnets on the back?? When my kitchen is done I’m going to figure our somewhere for a blackboard!!!!
Your mudroom looked so amazing when I saw it last! I can’t wait to see it when your finished.
I’ve been working on my craft room. I have Scrapbooking things, sewing things and other craft things. It’s crazy how much is acquired over time. I think I’ll search around your blog soon to see what ideas you have.
Super cute! I wish I could take EVERYTHING in this post and put it in my home, lol. Those chalkboards are the best I’ve seen…the scalloped edges are adorable. Clipboards and mudrooms sound like heavenly organization. 🙂
Love the Magnets and the clothespins. The lockers look amazing-can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Hello, just found your site from yet another….love the ideas…found a few things to share with grandson…now….how can I subscribe or will you please do it for me so I can receive updates….ah, as a senior gal, not all that tech savvy.
I’ve made froufrou-y clothespins but none magnetic, sugar, so I’ll have to try that one. I did a cute makeover over of my laundry room however that you might like to see.
What kind of magnets would fit the clothes pins though? Those are a great idea though, sweet chick. First time I’ve been here and you have some darling ideas!
xoxo,
Connie
