Card Club Cards

We had Card Club again this month. The theme was Thank You cards. Very appropriate for this time of year, don’t ya think? Wow, these ladies are so creative. I really need to step it up or I’m going to be tossed out on my rear. It would probably help if I didn’t start planning my cards an hour before. We’re not meeting in December, so my goal in January is to have a plan and start making them the week before. That’s my goal!

Here are the Thank You cards and as you can tell there was apparently a green color theme that I was not told about:

SS858205

Clockwise: Julie, Heidi, Heidi, Heidi. Heidi made me some extra cards as a trade. I love her cards! They’re always perfect and I love green.

SS858207

Clockwise: Andrea, Leisel, Leanne, Anjanette, Cathy (cute tag in the middle). I told you they were super creative.

Here are some more cards Heidi made for me. I always need more birthday cards. And that’s our theme for January, so if anyone has an amazing idea, please pass it my way:

Have the rest of a Wonderful Weekend!

I am so jealous! These are gorgeous! I love handmade cards but, I can’t design one to save my life…I think I’m too impatient! Beautiful work!

If you want card ideas try:
    1. the library, look up hand made cards or paper crafts
    2. etsy.com and see what others are making
    3. michaels.com look up cards under project ideas, they change all the time and you can see larger pics and right click and save to your pictures.
I did this a while back with a bunch of ideas from there and others I had saved and I printed them on plain paper in color in wallet size and put them all in a baseball card protector sheet, then put them in a binder. Now I can go through it and find ideas, and one background idea can become a thank you, birthday, get well etc.
Good luck and have fun, I love card making and wish I could be in my craft room now.
